For the AMC out-of-towners:

1. If you missed the deadline to register for housing in the Wayne State Dorms, this is your best option:
- The Hotel St. Regis, one of Detroit's top hotels, has graciously given us a hook-up on rooms during the AMC.
- You can reserve a double with 2 Queen sized beds for $122 / night, including taxes
- Shuttle service to and from the conference is available upon advanced request (it's about 1 mile away)

- Tell them that you are a participant in the Allied Media Conference to receive the conference rate.
2. If you are traveling from NYC, looking for the most affordable and FUN travel option, reserve a seat on the Peoples Production House Bus-- $65 round trip.

3. If you are coming in from the airport:
- Unfortunately there are only 2 options: one costs $40 - 50, but will take about 30 min (cab). The other costs $1.75 but will take about 2 hours (bus).

4. If you are coming in on Megabus:
- The Megabus has 2 drop-off points: Capitol Park Downtown and Wayne State University.
- You want to get off at Wayne State University (Cass Ave / Warren Ave)
- To Get to McGregor Conference Center, walk north on Cass to Ferry Mall 1/2 block (just past the Detroit Public Library on your right). Turn left on Ferry Mall. McGregor Conference Center is located at 495 Ferry Mall
5. If you are coming in on the Greyhound:
- The Greyhound station is located at 1001 Howard (between 5th and 6th streets)
- Walk south on 6th street 2 blocks to Fort Street, cross Fort to stand on the east-bound side
- Wait for the #19 bus, get off at Capitol Park, where the line ends (only about 5 min)
- Walk east on Grand River one block to the next major street, Woodward
- Cross Woodward to the north-bound side and wait for the #53 bus
- Take the #53 north and get off at Warren Ave (about 5 min)
- Cross Woodward and head West on Warren, one block to Cass Ave
- Make a right and walk approx. 1/2 block to Ferry Mall
- Make a left, McGregor Conference Center is located at 495 Ferry Mall
- OR call a cab from the Greyhound station (should be less than $10)

6. If you are coming in on the Amtrack:
- The Amtrack station is located at 11 W. Baltimore Ave, at the corner of Baltimore and Woodward
- You're on the south-bound side of Woodward, which is where you want to be.
- Catch the #53 bus and head south towards downtown.
- Get off at Woodward and Warren (about 5 min)
- Make a right on Warren and a right on Cass Ave, one block later.
- Walk approx. 1/2 block to Ferry Mall
- Make a left, McGregor Conference Center is located at 495 Ferry Mall
