Bio:
Viva Fidel has affectively used music as a vehicle internationally for
political and social change. Fidel, A Taste Emcee, has earned many
titles ranging from motivational counselor, lecturer, to political
activists, freelance journalists, producer, and model. The founder of
two community institutions: The Summer of Peace and the Hip- hop
social club, both which serve his local community as intervention
programs that empower youth with multi media training and violence
prevention education, Fidel has garnered street credibility by
dedicating his time to community development. Fidel is a well rounded
artist and accomplished journalist, with published interviews
featuring numerous celebrity personalities, including Russell Simmons,
P. Diddy, Marley Marl, Afrika Bambaata, and DJ Kool Herc, as well as
live performances with the Black Eyed Peas, Common, KRS-ONE, and Dead
Prez.
